The Queen’s MBA Class of 2013 is proud to host the first annual MBA Charity Gala on Feb. 9, 2013 at the Ambassador Conference Resort in Kingston, Ontario. Queen’s MBA students are dedicated to giving back and have decided to support Right To Play for this year’s inaugural charity gala dinner.
Our Vision is to aid in the long-term development of future leaders and dedicated humanitarians around the globe through the power of sport, teamwork and play
Keynote Speaker: Perdita Felicien – 2-Time Olympian & Canadian Hurdles Record-Holder
Perdita Felicien is a 2-Time Olympian, 2-Time World Champion, 2-Time World Silver Medalist, Canadian Record Holder-100m Hurdles & 60m Hurdles, and 10-Time Canadian Champion, who as a Right To Play Athlete Ambassador has visited Right To Play programs in Mali in 2010. Right To Play Athlete Ambassadors are international athletes who share Right To Play values, serve as role models for children around the world, and choose to participate in Right To Play activities without compensation.
Purpose:
· To raise awareness on the impact of sport, teamwork and play on personal and community development
· To fundraise $40,000 for Right To Play to promote their worldwide activities
· To develop a platform for our students to give back to less fortunate communities around the world
